Using Facebook Ads with Curated

If your audience generally uses Facebook, you might consider using Facebook advertising to promote your publication.

This article doesn’t cover the details of setting up a Facebook ad but it does explain how to track subscriber conversions from your advert.

Creating a Facebook Pixel to Track Signups

In order to measure how your ad is performing, you will need to create a Facebook pixel so that every successful signup to your publication is tracked with Facebook.

When you have created your Facebook Pixel, find your pixel ID by clicking ‘Edit Pixel’:

As Curated includes many different ways for your subscribers to sign up (Email, Safari Push Notifications, etc…) it needs to insert the pixel code in various places. As a result, we only need the Pixel ID which is shown below highlighted in yellow:

Copy that number and in your publication settings, go to the Analytics section and enter it against the Facebook Pixel ID:

Once the ID is saved in your control panel you are all set and you can put your ad campaign live.
